Everest High passes Trek

Like any other trekking in the Khumbu region Everest High passes trek starts from Lukla. You fly from Kathmandu to Lukla via 35 minutes of scenic mountain flight viewing close up view of the high glaciated mountains in the Khumbu region. From Lukla your trek commences and passing through different spectacular mountains, pristine rhododendron and pine forests, river Georges difficult climbing and high passes. Khumbu re3gion is rich for the Lush Vegetation and abundant wildlife including rare animals like Himalayan tahr, musk deer, Danphe (Himalayan pheasant, Nepal’s national bird), blood pheasant, the Himalayan snow-cock and snow-pigeon and Chukkar. The main highlights of the Everest high passes trek are exploration of Chhukung valley and Gokyo lakes, Chhukung Ri peak, hiking up to Everest Base Camp. Kala Pathar, and Ama Dablam Base Camp.  

Itinerary

Day 01: Arrive at Tribhuwan International Airport (TIA) Kathmandu and transfer to Hotel.

Day 02: Today we spend half day for trip arrangements and Half Day Guided Kathmandu valley Sightseeing

Day 03: Take a scenic flight from Kathmandu- Lukla (2840m/9320ft)-(2610m/8560ft) and trek to Phakding for 3-4 hrs.

Day 04: Trek from Phakding to Namche Bazaar (3440m/11290ft) trekking for about 5-6 hrs.

Day 05: Take a day rest at Namche Bazaar as Acclimatization day and explore the surrounding. Up to Khumjung and return back.

Day 06: Trek Form Namche to Tengboche (3860m) walking for about 5 hours a day. You visit the world famous monastery at the highest altitude.

Day 07: Trek from Tengboche to Pangboche (3800M) walking for 5 hrs.

Day 08: Trek from Pangboche to Dingboche (4410m) walking for about 5 hours a day.

Day 09: Trek from Dingboche to Chhukung at (4700m) walking for about 5 hours.

Day 10: Trek from Chhukung to Lobuche (5000m) via Kongma La Pass (5535m).

Day 11: Trek from Lobuche to Gorekshep (5180m) then hike up to Kala Pathar (5545m) walking for about 7 hours a day.

Day 12: You take a day rest in Goraksheep and Explore the Everest Base Camp (5316m).

Day 13: Trek from Gorak Shep to Dzongla (4830m) walking for about 5 hours a day.

Day 14 : Trek from Dzongla to Thangnak (4,700 m) via Chola Pass (5350m).

Day 15 : Trek from Thangnak to Gokyo Lake (4,750m).

Day 16 : Today you hike up to Gokyo Ri (5483 m.) and excursion around Gokyo valley.

Day 17 : Trek from Gokyo to Lungden via Renjo Pass (5345m) walking for about 6 hours a day.

Day 18 : Trek from Lunde to Thame village (3800m) walking for about 5 hours a day.

Day 19 : Trek from Thame to Namche Bazaar (3441 m) walking for about 6 hours a day.

Day 20 : Trek from Namche Bazaar to Lukla (2886 m.) walking for about 5 hours a day.

Day 21 : Fly back from Lukla to Kathmandu (1337m) via 30 – minutes of scenic mountain flight.

Day 22: Final departure to your onward destination. "Farewell"
