Tsum valley trek is also one of the famous and adventurous treks in Nepal. Tsum valley which is derived from the Tibetan word Tsombo literally means Vivid. Tsum valley is the sacred valley or pilgrimage site for the Himalayan people. Tsum valley lies on the northern region of the Gorkha district surrounded by the Sringi Himal to the North, Ganesh Himal to the south and Buddha Himal and Himal Chuli to the west. The people in the valley are very religious do not believe in sacrificing animals and never Slaughter any kinds of animal. Tsum valley has preserved many age old Monasteries, Caves, lush vegetation, cultural and Natural Heritages.
Tsum valley trek can also be called as pilgrimage trek. This trek starts and ends at Aarughat itself. The trek starts only after you drive from Kathmandu to Aarughat bazzar. Initially as you start trekking along the trail you pass through the charming villages,Solti khola and Maccha Khola valley, picturesque farmlands and Forested areas until you reach the Chumlung. From Chumlung you trek a day to reach the Chhokangparo from where Upper Tsum valley starts. As you trek along the Upper Tsum valley En route you visit the Milarepa Piren Phu Cave, different Gompas like Dhephyudonma Gompa (4060 m) and Gonhgye Gompa (Nyigma-pa Buddhist sect). Tsum valley is rich in culture and religion and is filled with the riches of Gompas, chortens and Mani walls.
Arrive at Tribhuwan International Airport (TIA) Kathmandu and transfer to Hotel.Overnight at hotel.
Today we spend half day for trip arrangements and Half Day Guided Kathmandu valley Sightseeing Overnight at hotel.
From Kathmandu drive to Arughat Bazaar for about 8-9 hrs.
Trek from Arughat to Soti Khola walking for about 6-7 hrs.
Trek from Soti Khola to Machha Khola walking for about 6-7 hrs.
Trek from Machha Khola to Doban walking for about 6-7 hrs.
Trek from Doban to Philim walking for about 6 hrs.
Trek from Philim to Chumling (Lower Tsum) walking for about 7 hrs.
Trek from Chumling to Chhokangparo (Upper Tsum) walking for about 5-6 hrs.
Trek from Chhokangparo to Nile/Chhule walking for about 6-7 hrs. En route visit Milarepa Piren Phu Cave.
Trek from Nile/Chhule to Mu Gompa (3700 m) walking for about 4 hrs a day. En route visit the Dhephyudonma Gompa (4060 m).
Spend Extra day for excursion around the vicinity.
Trek from Mu Gompa to Rachen Gompa walking for about 5 hrs a day. En route visit Gonhgye Gompa (Nyigma-pa Buddhist sect)
Trek from Rachen Gompa to Dumje walking for about 6-7 hrs.
Trek from Dumje to Philim (cross Ripchet) walking for about 6-7 hrs.
Trek from Philim to Tatopani walking for about 6-7 hrs.
Trek from Tatopani to Soti Khola walking for about 6-7 hrs.
Trek from Soti Khola to Arughat Bazar walking for about 6-7 hrs.
From Arughat Bazar you drive back to Kathmandu. It takes about 8-9 hrs of continuous driving.
Farewell and transfer to airport for flight back to destination country.
