Mt. Annapurna I (8,091 meters) is the third highest mountain in the world and is most challenging expedition peak in Nepal. Annapurna is derived from the Sanskrit word which literally means "sustenance" so again Annapurna means the Goddess of harvest, fertility and Agriculture. In Hinduism Annapurna is also known as the incarnation of the Goddess Durga. Annapurna I was ascended for the first time in the year 1950 by M. Herzog & L. Lachenal till then the Annapurna was the first highest peak ever climbed by humans. Mt. Annapurna Expedition is quiet a difficult climbing and the peak is famous for the avalanches. Due to the fact according to a survey done in 2005 it has been found that among the 103 successful climbing 56 climbers has already lost their lives.
Annapurna I Expedition starts from the Annapurna I Base Camp after you take a bus from Kathmandu to Baglung and trek from Baglung to ABC walking long day trek for approximately seven days. En route you trek all the way through the picturesque environ and the lush vegetation of the Annapurna Region. You trek through the Beautiful villages, terraced mid hills, rivers, arid vegetations of the upper valleys to reach up to the Base camp. From the base camp it takes nearly about 20 days to approach the summit via its southern face. You take some time make different camps in different heights acclimatize yourself and wait for the good weather before approaching the final summit of the Annapurna I.
Arrive at Tribhuwan International Airport (TIA) Kathmandu and transfer to Hotel. Overnight at hotel.
Spend day for Sightseeing in Kathmandu Valley for 5-6 hours and preparation for Peak climbing. Overnight at hotel.

Drive back from Birethanti to Pokhara, Rest, Overnight in Hotel
Drive back from Pokhara to Kathmandu, overnight in hotel
Transfer to airport, for your onward destination.
