Mt. Everest with its height of 8,848m (29028ft) has been renowned as the world highest mountain. Expedition in this world highest mountain has been remained as ultimate adventure for the Adventure seekers and those junkies all over the world. Each year thousands of people from all over the world come here to fulfill their dream of attempting the summit. This majestic mountain was first ascended by Sir Edmond Hillary and Late Tenzing Norge Sherpa in 1953. Mt. Everest expedition starts from the Base Camp which is situated on Khumbu Glacier at an altitude of 5486m (18000ft.) from the base camp the climbers gradually start climbing up to the Camp I crossing all the crevasses, Sercs and chunk of ice using fixed ropes and aluminum ladder and other climbing tools. Camp I is situated at an altitude of 6400m on horizontal area filled with snow covered mountain walls. From Camp I climbers again start climbing through the crevassed path up to the height of 22145ft. (6,750m.). At this height you set your camp II at the foot of the Lotse. Likewise, facing the difficult climbing and using different tools and technique climbers head up to Camp III at an altitude of 23292ft. (7,100m.) and then to Camp IV 27560ft. (8,400m.) which is the last camp of this expedition from this camp you head up to the summit of the Everest. Normally, climbers choose the Narrow South – East Ridge to attempt the South Summits 8,750m and from here it is easy to attempt the Summit of Mt. Everest.
Arrive at Tribhuwan International Airport (TIA) Kathmandu and transfer to Hotel. Overnight at hotel.
Spend day for Sightseeing in Kathmandu Valley for 5-6 hours and preparation for Peak climbing. Overnight at hotel.
Fly from Kathmandu to Lukla via scenic flight.
Hike from Lukla to Namche Bazaar at 11,300ft.
Take a day rest at Namche as Acclimatization day.
Trek from Namche to Tengboche.
Trek from Tengboche to Dingboche.
Take a day rest as Acclimatization day in area.
Trek from Dingboche to Lobuche.
Trek from Lobuche to Gorak Shep.
Hike up to the Base Camp.
We will acclimate and recover in Base Camp for several days. At the same time you will get an opportunity to attend a puja (an important ceremony with our Sherpa team) and practice some climbing kills (ladder crossing) before heading up the Khumbu Icefall.
At First rotation up to Camp 1 and then Camp 2.
Rest and recover in base camp.
Second rotation up to Camp 2 and a hike to Camp 3.
Rest and recovery. And you descend down to the village of Dingboche at about 14,000 ft/4,250 m.
Today you attempt the Summit. We will be watching the weather closely in anticipation of our summit attempt. The typical summit window is in the last weeks of May.
Depart back to Base Camp and trek to Lukla.
Fly back to Kathmandu from Lukla.
Transfer to International Airport for your onward destination.
